Adedeji 'Davido' Adeleke, an Afropop artist, has won the Digital Artist of the Year and the Humanitarian Award of the Year at the 15th Headies Awards.

The 29-year-old singer won both awards at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

To win the Humanitarian Award of the Year, Davido outperformed veteran rapper RuggedMan, PSquare, 2Baba, Don Jazzy, and Lord Bliss.

As a way of celebrating his birthday last year, the 'Fall' singer donated N250 million he received from friends and colleagues to orphanages across Nigeria.

In addition, he outwits Burna Boy, CKay, Joeboy, Rema, and Wizkid to win Digital Artiste of the Year.

After releasing "Dami Duro," the second single from his debut studio album Omo Baba Olowo, Davido won the Next Rated award at The Headies in 2012. He has since won eight Headies awards, including Best R&B/Pop Album, Hip Hop World Revelation of the Year, Song of the Year twice, Artiste of the Year twice, and Best Pop Single.
